What to wear to a funeral?

My husband’s grandfather recentely passed away and we are having a very unconvential funeral. His ashes are going to be sprinkled on a very famous golf course and, as the club is fancy but it is in terms a funeral, I’m at a loss at to what to wear.

Any ideas or suggestions?
I understand black and “muted” colors are appropriate, but I need suggestions as to my wardrobe….
